Braden Chudzik is a Music Director, Conductor, Pianist, and Keyboardist based in Buffalo, NY. A proud member of AFM Local 92, he is currently touring as the Associate Music Director/Keyboard 2 of the Suffs First National Tour. Since 2012, Braden has been music directing and performing across the country in tours as well as regional, collegiate, and community theatres. Other recent credits include Music Director/Keyboard 1 of the Book of Mormon North American Tour, Associate Music Director/Keyboard 2 for the Mean Girls Second National Tour, and the Legally Blonde National Tour (2022–2023).
Regionally, Braden has served as Music Director for productions with The Palace Theatre (Legally Blonde, dir. Carl Rajotte) in Manchester, NH; Theatre Workshop of Nantucket (Rock of Ages) in Nantucket, MA; Mountain Rep Theatre (The Rocky Horror Show) in Cripple Creek, CO; and Jenny Wiley Theatre (Footloose) in Prestonsburg, KY. As a pianist and keyboardist, he has performed with Starring Buffalo (Evita, starring Lena Hall, dir. Drew Fornarola), The Kavinoky Theatre (Hairspray), and The Lancaster Opera House (The Rocky Horror Show, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) in Buffalo, NY; The Naples Players (Mary Poppins, Something Rotten!, She Loves Me, Sister Act) in Naples, FL; and North Country Center for the Arts (Mamma Mia!) in Lincoln, NH, among others.
During his time at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he studied Biomedical Engineering, Braden served as the resident Music Director for the university. He music directed, programmed (Mainstage), performed, and conducted eight productions, in addition to playing piano and tenor saxophone in several campus ensembles. He also sang bass with the RIT a cappella group, Eight Beat Measure.
